Screams rang out, they didn’t stop. They kept going and going the bloodcurdling screams grew louder and louder over each passing minute. Until they stopped.
The silence was peaceful, the pounding in her head lessened. A small happy smile played across her lips as enjoyed the peace. It didn’t last long— something felt off. It seemed too fast, to quiet, too peaceful. Too fake. She ran her tongue across her pearly white teeth as she thought. Where am I? she thought. what is this She felt sticky and there was a metallic scent in the air. The realization hit her too late, this—this is blo— before she could finish the though pain exploded all over her body, the pounding in her head came back. She felt as if her body ripping itself apart and putting it back together again, she had never felt this much pain before. She let out screams in agony as her body began tearing itself apart. All she could think of is why. Why me? I have too- she passed out her eyes rolling back into her head her screams still echoing thorough out.

Everything felt heavy. Her body groaned in protest as she went to stand up, pain shot up her body causing her to let out a gasp in pain. what is this? she thought as she looked around, seeing small little glowing pink orbs. As she watched the orbs float and move through out the room? no this is a cave of some sorts? Her attention was drawn to her tail, she nearly passed out once she saw the shards coming out of her tail. She noticed the a lot of the orbs were also around her head/ upper body. Once the thought had crossed her mind she denied it, no, no, no, NO! This can’t be happening! she thought, “This CANT be happening!” She yelled in her confused and in denial state. Her mother always told her stories about horrific ways magic could manifest itself but not like this. They were only stories! There only supposed to be stories, to share little children about the use of magic! she thought angrily. Her father had been blind, born that way everyone though he was just some dull blind coatl with no potential. That was until they discovered he could see the future. She was supposed to have amazing great powers like her dad an underdog, she was expected to do great things and to be great. But instead she was stuck with ...terrible, horrific, ugly, painful... crystal shards sticking out of her head down to her shoulders and then at her tail. She was standing now her memories coming back to her, she was in a cave after chasing after some bramble guardians.
