"The Paladin"
Shichiro is a dragon with a strong sense of duty and justice, believing strongly that those with great power should use it for more noble causes rather than just self-satisfaction. It was because of this trait that he could not embrace the current way the Night Warriors are forced to train to even become one since he views it as barbaric and unfair to some. When he meets Nurarihyon, who inspires Shichiro in a way similar to his father, Shichiro decides to serve under him and without question follow his orders. He wants to protect what the Commander see's dear which is his family and clan. He then goes under the training of one of the family guards, Kogami, to become a royal bodyguard for Nurarihyon. He soon changes his way of seeing things as Nurarihyon explains to him that the Night Warriors are strong and that he himself looks up to the great generational bloodline. He lets him know that he should carry his blood high and aim to make them great as well as himself. He doesn't get along with some of the younger dragons of the clan and is often isolated from the rest. He is very serious, almost like he was born with an old soul. It's hard for him to relax at times and that why he and Yumeoaruku do not get along. He doesn't like when he intruded in on one of this dreams, which was more of a nightmare. He was embarrassed that Yumeoaruku saw one of his biggest fears. Which is being all alone. Since then they argue with pretty much everything and they have gone as far as to get into a few fights over small things. Nurarihyon has tried to have him socialize with the younger generation of the clan but he always gravitates toward him and the elders. He is always telling him that he needs to gain their trust and respect if he is to achieve his goal. The only dragon he seems to tolerate is his fellow Night Warrior Katsuro. Who in the personality department is clear on the other side of the spectrum from him.

"What are you doing?"
Shichiro opened one eye to look at his fellow Night warrior Katsuro while mentally rolling his eyes for the 20th time in the past hour. He had already explained to Katsuro what he was doing but he is pretty sure Katsuro is doing it to spite him.
"Mediating. "
"why?"
"Cause..."
"Cause why?"
"Why not."
"I don't know seems boring."
"That unfortunate."
"What is?"
"Never mind."
"Never mind what?"
"Uuugghhh."
Shichiro took a breath and tried to focus once again.
Snap!
Shichiro opened his eyes and look down bellow him where Katsuro had just broken a tree by smacking his tail hard against. It confuses Shichiro that he can be so well skilled of a warrior without even trying. He never paid attention during lectures from Rajanicant but when asked to do something in combat he executes it almost perfect. He shook his head and went back to meditating.
"Chiro!!!! Hey!!! Shi Chi!"
"Do NOT call me that."
"But it got your attention."
"Undivided at that. What?"
"Spar with me."
"No.."
"what!? Why not!?"
"Just no."
"Give me a reason at least."
"Don't need to."
"Why?"
"You should know why. Remember what happened last time?"
"Hmm, remind me again?"
"One word. Kageonna."
"Oh... That bad huh."
"Yes never again."
"But she isn't here"
"You sure?"
Katsuro widens his eyes and looked around. Shichiro chuckled and went back to meditating. It wasn't long before Katsuro wondered back up on the rock with him and sat down, blowing smoke from his nostrils.
"You lie she isn't around."
"You sure cause? She is right there."
Katsuro looked to where Shichiro pointed and snorted.
"She ain't behind me. Like I said from the beginning she ain't here!"
"Not behind you, stupid. Look at your shadow."
As he looked closer a feminine chuckle could be heard. Katsuro jumped up and looked around. Shichiro shook his head once again.
Katsuro watched in horror as she materialized from his shadow and stood before him.
"Man, I was in your shadow the whole time and you still couldn't tell. Shame on you Shi. I was having fun with it."
"Hey, I don't want to get in trouble like last time. Either I tell him you were there or he would take it upon himself to make me spar. I took the lesser of the two evils."
"Damn you smart ***."
"Hey, watch your language. That is not very lady like." Katsuro scolded.
"Oh, I'll show you lady like."
"Hey, guys if you don't mind could you take this somewhere else trying to focus here."
"Gladly."
"Wait! I did not agree with this! Shi! Help a fellow warrior out here."
"You are on your own."
"Screw you and your mediitat- ****!"
Kageonna threw a shadow like attack at Katsuro making him jump back and take off into the sky with the swift Kageonna on his tail. She laughed as she sent balls of shadows flying at him making him dodge and cry out like a little hatchling.
"Come here, you little Kit Kat!"
"Never!!!"
"Hmm well, it could have been worse." Shichiro smiled slightly and continued to watch their charade of barrel rolls and drives.
"I could get use to this.."
