Skreel's Clan

The Clan of the Hallowed Hand. Their territory lies amongst the forgotten, abandoned temples strewn about the wretched realms of the Wandering Contagion. A central, ritualistic altar rises up from a pit of bones and skeletal remains, standing tall and stalwart despite the fleshy tendrils running up and down its impressive length. The territory isn't wholly unguarded; imperial watchers patrol endlessly, allowing naught but messengers and captured prisoners into their rotten enclave.

Overcrowded and wrought with plague and disease, the lair's inhabitants appear on the verge of starvation. There's little sense of order; the dead and dying are carelessly thrown into the pit without remorse or distinction. A sacrificial cult, a sect claiming to hear the long-lost words of their beloved Plaguebringer, seem to be culling the population, condemning prisoners, trespassers and even their own to execution.

The clan's underbelly is primarily underground, hidden deep within stretches of maze-like catacombs and tunnels. Impossible to traverse and navigate, the lair's most influential dragons lurk within its depths-- until it's time to spread the pestilent touch of their wrath to rival clans.
