In truth, Amel is more of a craftsdragon than a fighter. Although he devotes much of his free time to his artistic pursuits, particularly music and calligraphy, he still finds training important enough to pursue and makes it a point to hone his combat skills regularly. A bit of a wanderer at heart, Amel one day hopes to be able to ply his trade as a wandering minstrel or artist. However, he knows that the world outside his birth clan is not always a kind or welcoming place, and feels more secure knowing that he has the combat skills his family is known for on his side. Should he ever be attacked by beastclans or hostile dragons, Amel is fully capable of defending himself - and he is more than willing to come to the aid of a troubled stranger should the need arise.
