Adorned in crimson and crowned with a haunting halo of scarlet light, V is rumored to move with a speed that not even the fastest Spirals are capable of keeping up with. Within a single movement, silver blades summon an illusion that creates hundreds of lookalikes, causing a rain of scintillant swords that leaves nothing but a bloody and desolate battlefield. His empty eyes, drained of all emotion, shows no empathy for all the suffering he brings.

A tale of ultimate tragedy and misunderstanding led to V, as he is known today; as the master of the Vantara Manastone. Those with magical sensitivity can feel the wretched strength that grips him, hanging over his shoulders like a crimson veil. And those blessed by enhanced vision are capable of seeing the specter of what looks like a young female, cloaked in nothing but a swirling gown, and adorned by sharp crystals; the manifestation of the stone's will.

Formerly a respected and charismatic leader of a monarchic kingdom, he served loyally as the captain of a special field squad. Their only duty was to capture and destroy anomalies that could turn the tide of war, one of which were the rumored Manastones. Third parties were known for involving themselves in conflicts for them, and individuals gone mad with their power could massacre entire armies with a single blade.

The Manastones, cursed artifacts that corrupt and destroy those who dare tap their power. In the wake of abandonment by his closest allies, he gave in and submitted to the one thing that he had been fighting to destroy, for they had already taken so much from him. His head raised, and in that single moment, his soul was forfeit, lost to him and the gods. And with this single event, one of the mightiest kingdoms, once shining with splendor, would be reduced to ashes in a flurry of flame and blood.

V, jaded and left embittered by betrayal, he vowed nothing but vengeance upon the ones who had caused him to suffer. It was he who bore the cursed artifact, so that they would be kept safe from its temptation. It was he who undertook the ultimate trials, and fought back the demonic influence that swirled in his mind, threatening to turn him against everything he ever stood for. The spirit by the name of Vantara whispered to him, offering the allure of ultimate power, the strength to bring change, when he had been powerless...

But in that moment, he also awakened to the cold truth: That what he fought for would eventually disappear and be consumed by the earth once more, and that he, who wanted to save it, also meant nothing. He looked into the abyss, vowing to deliver the unrepentant and ungrateful to the embrace of the void. And the palace where he was knighted burned, and to this day, nothing but rubble remains. Yet, that was only the first step. With the manastone's power, he can return all to its absolutely perfect state: Nothing.
