The cold wind whips around the huge mountains of sculpted ice and snow at the edges of the Fortress, whistling over the entrances of caves carved from the unforgiving ramparts. This is the land of the Winterlings.

Our clan grows slowly, as benefits one of the patient Ice flight. We are extremely selective about who we accept as one of our own, though many dragons may pass through for a time. Our founders, Mercor and Nighte, are reluctant to welcome guests, though their children are much less isolationist.

We are founded on the principles of quiet movement, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, and move only when unendurable force is on our side. It is difficult to make an enemy of us, but if you do beware. It may take years, but you will be wiped utterly from the face of the world.
