Biography
I looked at the book, I already knew everything, before that, I had gone to the library and borrowed a whole bunch of books: “A Study in Dragon Genetics”, “Advanced Alchemy and Chemistry”, “Geography of the Veridian Labyrinth”, “The Art of Apparels”, “Deeper Look in the Creation”, “Dragon Biology: Coatls”, “How to Decode Paper Scraps”, “Guide to Coliseum Leveling”, “How to get a Familiar’s Loyalty”, and “The Mystic Healer”.
It’s annoying that you can only borrow ten books at a time, and even more annoying that Tynnk doesn’t let me stay in the library all day, so I have to borrow my books in five minutes, get back to my lair, read them, and figure out that I actually already know everything inside the books and the frantic search in the library had been in vain. It is getting harder and harder to find new knowledge in the library, if you borrow twenty books every day, you will find yourself bored to death by all the repeated topics within a month,
So what I’m going to do now, is to take this chunk of books back to the library and find new ones... Wait, that book’s new! I haven’t seen “The Mystic Healer” before! Let me see if it’s about aid and regenerate stones...
This a myth that little know, starting from the Gladekeeper, there was a healer, the first one is obviously the Gladekeeper, but since when dragons were created, she chose a wildclaw, and gave him healing powers, after that wildclaw died, that power itself became so powerful that it came to life, and it chose a nature dragon to stay on, and if that dragon dies, it will choose another. It doesn’t matter if that dragon is powerful, the power chose the dragons according to its will, once, it even went to a fodder dragon that can’t even scratch properly!
The healing power can only heal small wounds as well as sprout trees at first, but it became more and more powerful and gained its own will, now, it can heal things like hunger, thirst, aging, a possessed dragon, and even incurable disease! As long as the target is still living, the healer can make it good as new! It can also spawn life in even the worst places. So far, we do not know if that power is good or evil, but it didn’t seem to show signs of destruction for now.
I thought: What kind of book is this? The grammar and stuff are so weird! I don’t even know if the content is accurate, never mind, I’ll just put this info into my brain and save it for later use...
Then, I returned all the books and went to find tomo, I had always loved to help her, but after a few days, her questions seem so repetitive and boring, but anyways, she always seem so happy to see me every time! I guess I should just go today...
Tomo: Hi, how are you?
Me: I’m fine, do you want any help?
Tomo: Absolutely! I forgot the breeding cool down of a fae dragon!
Me: That’s easy! It’s 10 days!
Tomo: Wait, no, it should be 15 days
That struck me like a lightning bolt, how could I get that wrong? I had always answered every single question correctly! No, no! This can’t be true! I ran back to my lair crying, and I smashed onto meow, I quickly apologised, but he said that it doesn’t matter, he just let me rest on his shoulders and comforted me.
I cried, “Why! Why can I get that wrong!”
He said, “Relax, you won’t know everything in the world.”
I shouted, “But I WANT to know everything!”
He said, “ For others, it’s impossible, but I can help you.”
I asked, “Please help me! But how?”
He answered, “Use your knowledge as much as you could, make the strongest love potion you can, so strong that whoever that sees it becomes blind, whoever that touches it becomes numb, and whoever that drinks a drop of it will fall into a deep deep pit, that they will do anything, from sacrifice to murder, just for the sake of their beloved. Then, put in a tuft of Whisperer’s fur, when all is done, put it in Narik’s bowl of soup.”
I asked, “Why? Why do I have to force Narik to love someone he doesn’t love?”
He answered, “Whisperer is possessed, Narik is the only one who can help her!”
I replied! “Oh, ok, I’ll try my best to help them!”
I gathered all ingredients, from the fluff of a pink unicorn to the petal of a black rose, I put the ingredients into a glass beaker one by one, then gave it a spark of magic, all the ingredients vanished, and a black gleaming concoction appeared, a gush of warmth filled me, I instantly wanted to help Whisperer! I took the bottle and ran to Narik’s room, wait, what just happened? Wow! The potion was stronger than I thought well, I’m gonna pour it in anyways... Narik was still sleeping, sweet and sound, I dripped a drop into his soup, guilt filled me, but thinking that it’ll help Whisperer, and that I’m near to gaining all knowledge of Sornieth, I walked away as if nothing happened.
I can’t let the potion to harm anyone else! I quickly poured the rest into the shining waters of the Everbloom Gardens, wait, then the fish will be affected! I guess it won’t harm if the fish loved Whisperer? Wait, dragons also drink from the lake, I took a piece of wood and carved “DO NOT DRINK UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET POISONED” in my very sloppy handwriting. But what if the sign fell down? Or the one drinking can’t understand my handwriting? I need to invent an antidote!
So I went to my room and read more books, investigated about potions, and thought of the formula of the antidote. I need a magical potion for the base, a drop of the original love potion, a tuft of whisperer’s fur, an eggshell from a wild nature egg, the feathers of a flaming dove and the scales of rainbow snake.
The first ingredient is simple, a healing potion can be the magical potion base! As for my love potion, I poured them all away, well, I’ll just go get some water from the river, which contains some of my potion, I got enough of the amount of water that contains one drop of my potion, then I distilled it to get a more pure form of potion, done! As for whisperer’s fur, I’ve still got some on hand, done! As for the next three ingredients, I’ve no idea how to get them.
Once the baby hatches, they eat the eggshell immediately, how can I find one? And I saw a nature egg sitting right next to me, I touched it, I felt that the dragon inside is struggling to get out, wow, I went to meow and asked over.
“Look at this egg! It’s so big! The baby must be a guardian!” I told him.
“Uhh” He replied.
“I can tell from the embryo’s movements that he’s a boy! Just like you!”
“And?”
“And he’s ready to hatch!”
“I don’t care.”
“Mind helping him?”
“Whatever.”
I mumbled an egg-hatching spell, finally, the baby guardian boy came out. I secretly gathered a few shards of the broken eggshell before the baby gets to eat it, but unlike all other babies, this one didn’t even glance at the shell! He looked around, wiggled his nose and ears, he seemed so interested and curious about the world around! I could tell he’s an intelligent boy from the moment he hatched, he could be my great student! I searched all my life for someone I can pass all my knowledge to, yet I can’t find anyone worthy of this, all my children failed me, none of them can carry my knowledge, but this kid, this kid will sure be a genius!
“Aww, though this baby is much bigger than me, he’s so adorable! Can you carry him to my room please?” I asked
“Whatever”
So he picked up the baby and put him in my room.
I raised him, fed him, taught him a lot of stuff. I taught him to talk, and taught him about sornieth, dragons, the shade, beastclans, magic, everything I know. He is a fast learner indeed, and shows particular interest in genetics, snakes, metal, and generally all science.
