Biography

Sandstone
Warrior
Dried Lilium Petals
Miniature Potash Peach
Birch Bark Sheet

Sandstone is widely known as the most confident and brave dragon in the clan. While he is always seen on the front lines of battle, he has a very selfless demeanor and will often make sure his team is doing alright, pushing them not to fight but rather to take the time to catch their breath. The Wildclaw often spends time with his sons, Pardofelis and Swithin, as well as his mate Miriel. He is an inspiration to many dragons in the clan and takes pride in helping keep his fellow dragons safe. Sandstone takes a leadership role naturally but gladly lets others have a say in action.

Sandstone's Journal (more unfinished old lore)
We are still standing, and we will win!

A sudden silence came over the arena, empty save for the three autumn dragons and various items scattered on the dusty floor. The Wildclaw in the center breathed heavily, the two Spirals next to him checking each others' wounds. His deep red eyes seemed to glow against the dark blue of the night sky as he waited for the signal. Surely it had to be over now.
The shadow shifted, nodding very slightly, and slowly moved away. Their work was done.
"Pardo, you've got a dent in your armor!" Swithin cried, gently running a claw over the scratch-covered plating. "We just got that piece..."
"Don't worry, Swith, because look where it is!" The older Spiral brother flew back a bit. The dent was right on his chest. "It saved me, that's all that matters." He looked over to his father, light brown eyes sparkling from the starlight. "And now all three of us can go back home, safe and sound."
The Wildclaw nodded with a sigh. "You two go on ahead. I'll catch up."
The two Spirals tilted their heads in unison. "Are you sure, Dad? You know we fly faster than you," Swithin replied nervously. The Wildclaw nodded again without a word, flicking his tail in a signal for them to leave.

Sandstone stood in the center of the arena. The shadow was still there, somewhere. He looked around at the scraps of cloth and other debris strewn across the dusty, scratched earth of the arena. The gates were all closed, infinite darkness behind them. For a moment he thought he heard rustling behind one of them, a great beast lurking just outside his reach. The raptor-like dragon looked back to the floor. The pouches with a handful of treasure had already been taken by the Spiral brothers, along with the most intact scraps from the scarves of Longneck foes. A few broken branches with beads tied to them that had once been a staff cracked beneath his feet as he walked over to a string of bells. They were the same kind of bells that had been sold by merchants to entertain hatchlings. Who else had fought the Raptorik that used these? Sandstone bent over and picked them up, a muted ring sounding from the cracked metal. He looked again for the shadow but to no prevail.
Spreading his ivory wings, the Wildclaw warrior flew up, back towards Dragonhome, a shadow and the mess and debris of battle behind him.
