Suileach was a famous sea-dragon of Lough Swilly, County Donegal, Ireland.


Suileach is my progen dragon and she was born with Leucism. Leucism causes a partial loss of pigmentation, which can make the dragon have white dragon scales. Thus her white on white. Other dragons made fun or her and called her names so she struck out on her own to find others to play dragon games with. As she traveled around, she collected up other dragons who either had Leucism or Albinism. Slowly she bound together one strong dragon clan. Interestingly one late night, Suileach (whose scales were so bright white) was called on to lead a dragon team pulling a sleigh full of sackdolls, idols, stuffed Miths and glitzy jewelry. They were due to be delivered at Glademama's celebration. A fog had settled and if it were not for Suileach's blinding white scales.... no toys would have been delivered that night!
Every year this story is told and that's the truth......
