Clan Lore:

The clan was founded by Nrgwenya and her mate Sahuinn, who always expressed a great interest in creating a place that would accept all and be a haven for culture and friendship. When they began the clan they decided to run it on a monarchy system, with Nrywenya becoming the first Xouv, or Leader. They also chose to have a small court made up of relatives, to assist in running Domwae. For a short time the clan ran smoothly, welcoming in many travelers from across the Windswept Plaeteu.

Sadly, one frightful night Sahuinn was late returning home, and when it was investigated they learned he had been scavenged by beast clans that had snuck in. Heartbroken, Xouv Nrgwenya separated herself from the clan, only communing with her closest companions and letting her daughter Everest speak for her to the rest of Domwae. Poinsettia, seeing the devastation his death had brought apon the clan, formed the Teyrw, a group of lairborn guardian dragons tasked with protecting Domwae from attack. All lairborn guardians where to be brought up learning the ways of the Teyrw from then on, all under Captain Poinsettia's watchful eye.

After the forming of the Teyrw, the workings of the clan evened out. Soon, their skilled diplomats where even able to secure allies in a few of the other flights; clan Ashveriket in Shadow, clan Sunvale in Light, clan Atlas in Energy, clan Budder in Fire, clan IxBalam in Water, and another ally in Energy, clan WayFarer. These new allies sent dragons from their clans to Domwae, some as gifts and some as diplomats. These dragons where welcomed into the clan, however some prejudice still exists between the lairborns and those who came to the clan later in life. However, the youngest generation in Domwae is working hard to forge new connections and ensure everyone is equal, and the elders are following suit.

After a time of peace and tranquility, many Domwaeins decided to go out in an attempt to find more allies across the flights, but sadly many of these journeys ended in the death of the exploring dragon at the hands of hostile clans unwilling to face the idea of diplomacy. After witnessing this, some dragons who had originally planned on following the same path chose instead to go to the clan's already formed allies, where a safe space was assumed guaranteed. Most chose to head to Domwae's oldest and most trusted ally, Ashveriket, and where sent off with the promise of keeping in contact through letters. However, over time they stopped communicating back, and it was soon discovered that they had been sold to some of the many, "Killing Clans" wherein they had been slaughtered for gold. After discovering this Nrgwenya was furious, and ordered no further dragons be sent to the Shadow ally, and cut all ties with them, breaking Domwaes longest-held alliance.

Recently, rogue beastclans again ravaged Domwae's area, but thanks to the Teyrw the clan remained unharmed, however when they fled the beasts left a prisoners' carriage behind. Upon inspection it was revealed to hold Domwae's beloved Sahuinn, very much alive.
He told the clan that while he was originaly captured by the beastclans he had then become a friend of theirs, helping them in their trek to save other beastclans from dragons. After their quest proved successful, Sahuinn officially joined them, and they then came back to Domwae to ask for assistance. However to get into the Windswept Plataeu they had to pretend Sahuinn was a prisoner once more, as to not arise suspicion. Nrgywenya rejoiced and came out to dine with her lifemate and the rest of her clan for that night, and the elders of Donwae met for the first time in what seemed like forever, and became on of the few dragon clans to openly reject the venerable regime of dragonkind, and join forces with the beastclans. From that point on Domwae was to be a friend to all, and would fight for freedom for the species that had made Sornieth their home after the brute dragons destroyed it.
