The male Imperial inched closer to her, gently wrapping his autumn-tinted wings around her shivering form.
“Hana.”
His raspy voice washed soothingly over her, as she withdrew a shaky breath.
“Him, don’t. I’m dangerous.”
His eyes softened like chocolate drops.
“So am I.”
He reached out his long, curved talons, glowing in the moonlight.
He grimaced.
“You don’t know how many insides these talons have brought to the cold air of this earth.”
He glanced back at her. She was practically a hatchling compared to him; the large half-deity had no semblance of hatred or loathing in his eyes now, just compassion.
“Please, Him. We can’t!” She cried, but he pressed his palm gently against her mouth, effectively quieting her.
“Who’s going to stop us?” His voice was cold and indifferent, and it quite frankly frightened her.
“Pisce had rules set for you, didn't he? He told you-”
Her eyes finally met his, and she sighed.
“-That you’re never allowed to love.”
He smiled.
“He doesn’t have to know. We can be happy for as long as you’re here.”
“And what about after?”
He smiled faintly, eyes glowing in the dark against the borders of the wind flight.
“You’ll always be in my heart. You’ll always be allowed to come back to me.”

“We need to make sure they’re hidden!”
His hisses felt like they were searing into her head.
“I know. I know. I didn’t mean to let things go this far.”
“Nor did I.”
She sensed a hint of satisfaction in his eyes though, as though perhaps he did indeed plan such an event.
The hatchling’s unborn bodies writhed within their eggshells, bursting with energy. One was happily already kicking against the walls, whereas the other was more quiet.
He smirked. “That one is as fidgety as you.”
He pointed a calloused talon at it as they hid their eggs within the grass and bamboo, creating a neat little shelter.
“I’ll remain here. They won’t notice I’m gone.”
His voice cracked for a moment, and he opened his wings for one last hug.
She pressed into him, sighing.
“This was just supposed to be a peace negotiation. How did it end up like this?” She breathed.
“I don’t know, but I’m almost glad this happened. Aren’t you?”
“Yes.. I suppose so.”
They were quiet for a long while.
“I love you, Hana.”
“I… I love you too, Him.”

I forgot to mention - Him is a half-deity. He’s being held responsible for the slaughtering of the Tidelord despite the fact he didn’t do it, and is a war prisoner that isn’t allowed to love anyone because of what he’s done. However, that doesn’t seem to stop him from falling in love with the offspring of glitch queen and satan. Y’know? He likes em’ dangerous (;

He’s a very interesting boy, from the little tidbits of lore, I got a small ideas about what he’s like. It’d defiantly be something I’d love to read when the full writing is all flushed out! I love how everything on him blends together nicley, but oddly, that’s my one little nitpick. Some areas blend a bit too well, and it’s hard to tell the dragon from the outfit. So I’d say he’s just a bit cluttered to my taste, but that’s really the only things that bothers me, and my eyes do adjust after a while. (I must say the alchemy tools provide a very nice pop to him! It’s small and bright, different in color. Small enough to where it’s not noticeable, but not too distracting.) Him is a very interesting dragon. I do enjoy your lair over all!
