As with all Aces, The Ace of Swords can indicate a new beginning of some sort in your life, possibly on several fronts. Sometimes this new beginning can be started by a separation of some kind - from a relationship, or from a job situation. Know that as anxiety-producing as such a new beginning can sometimes be, that underneath it all is good, beneficial energy that is getting you where you want to go. General: In general the Ace of Swords calls on us to not be afraid to make a leap if it's in our best interests. In short, bravery is called for. As the old adage says, "feel the fear and do it anyway." You have a good idea already of what must be done. The hard part is the doing of it. Start today. |

One of the largest members of the Foxfire Fortune clan, and certainly the most protective, is Viking. He prides himself on his appearance, grooming and shining his scales until they glitter like crystals. He is a fighter, first and foremost. He is designed to be the clan's protection, as if he were built for the purpose. He doesn't recall a childhood, and no one seems to know exactly where he came from, except that it was somewhere in The Lightning Farm. Now he's started a family with Spectre, and he loves her fiercely, and will defend her honour to no end. They found solace in one another, and she finally has the security she's always wanted. Viking embraces her gifts and knows she stands between this world and the next, able to see the ghosts of those who've passed, and he is happy to be her anchor to this world, so she might always find her way home. What Spectre doesn't know is that Viking - on his patrols - has another family; another mate, and they've had a nest together as well. This other mate, Midnight is a traveller, but whenever Viking stops in the Blooming Stars clan, Midnight comes home to him. Viking loves both women equally. He would never betray one over the other. It's a situation that works for him, he is a doting mate when he is with each family, and a caring father. He has found his place in both clans, and his passion is building up other fighters who can protect what he treasures most when he isn't there. |
