Digby

Digby is an adventurous little scamp. He likes to explore and often wanders away from home. When Siren, the clan's alpha, first found him he was wandering a little too far from the other dragons he was with in the shops. When she tried to return him the dragons told her that he was one of many hatchlings who were looking for a new home; so she took him. She just couldn't say no to those eyes. Besides, mirrors often make great hunters and warriors, so Digby could be useful to the clan as well.

He gets along well enough with the other dragons; there are plenty of mirrors around for him to interact with, but his eyes are a little off putting to them. His best friend, as far as dragons go, is Toochie the fae. They have very similar personalities and often find themselves wandering off together. They almost always seem to get themselves lost and usually have to be found by Toochie's rather displeased sisters, Rowyn and Margeaux. Margeaux had been put in charge of looking after Digby by Siren. She treated him like another little brother and was very annoyed that her real brother kept letting him wander off. Rowyn on the other hand saw the boys' similar personalities as an opportunity and thought of a way to keep them both from wandering, at least a little bit.

When Toochie was younger and more of a wanderer himself Rowyn got him a familiar. He grew very close to that familiar, almost never wanting to be without it; and because it's a fish and has to stay in a pool of water near the nest, it made the little dragon stay close to home (most of the time). She suggested that Margeaux try this with Digby. Margeaux took Digby to see Sloth, the caretaker of the clan's familiars, and helped him pick one out. She was disappointed at the very small number of aquatic creatures available. She thought there was no way that Digby would want an aquatic familiar over one of the many other terrestrial beasts. Digby however, quickly found himself the perfect new playmate. A reef snail that he affectionately named Rigby became his new best friend (other than Toochie of course). He mostly chose Rigby because of his eyes. Digby dug himself a hole near the his nest and had Margeaux help him fill it with water for his little friend. Rigby the reef snail is very good at keeping Digby at home, but just like his friend Toochie, it's not enough to keep him at home all the time. Digby and Toochie still wander off at random.
