so don't thank me when I purchase your dragons because most of the time they will go into the exalting pile...

Aside from my Coliseum dragons in the Masquerade tab, Lore dragons can be found in the Hibernal Dens - because I can't afford the upkeep *cries*.

Everyone else is for training, sales or exalting. If they don't have skins, apparel, pets, are on the last page of Cavern of the Eclipse (or if they aren't but I don't get inspiration), they are going to be exalted - because once again I can't afford the upkeep *cries harder*.

Clan Lore and Roles

The Masquerade

It is a tradition in the Clan, beginning from its founders, that Clan members should wear masks - be it hoods, silks, furs or metal - upon their successful initiation. The reason why remains unclear, though there have been rumors. About prophecies, trauma, histories and whatnot. Hushed whisperings that come as swiftly as they are dispelled by one look from the Clan matriarch. Though it is a rule that is not strictly enforced, it is certain that dragons without a mask will never rise in the ranks of the Clan.

The dragons of the Masquerade are by far the strongest beings in the Clan. It is the highest honor a dragon can receive, and being elected into the group derives from a set of stringent criteria that the matriarch jealously keeps secret. Masquerade dragons are selected upon their initiation, though on extremely rare occasions dragons originally existing in the Clan may be selected as well. The matriarch has an eye for potential, and so many unsatisfied dragons are eventually proven wrong when the ones she select turn out to be truly extraordinary.

Tide Pools
The true children, borne of dragons both still and once of the Clan, and the only ones who chose to stay. Though they do not get the express ticket into the Masquerade from the Matriarch for their loyalty and origins, it is clear even to the newest initiates that she is very fond of them.

Also serves as the resting place for members of the Masquerade, who wish to retire temporarily from their duties.

Cavern of the Sun
The wings of the Clan who are distinguished by their bright and vibrant colouration and apparel.

Cavern of the Moon
The wings of the Clan who are not as flamboyant as their Sun counterparts, preferring muted tones and duller shades that exude a quiet elegance.

Cavern of the Eclipse
A holding zone, for those who have yet to find their purpose, and for those who aspire to serve the Tidelord in the Dominances to come. Most recruits and children end up here, though there are those who change their minds and choose to join the Clan for the foreseeable future.
