A Noble Quest Begins

Enchanted by stories of brave and heroic acts, the little princess decided from an early age to be her own knight and do some saving of her own.
Following her parents everywhere with her bodyguard familiar hot on her heels, Valkyrie dreamed of the day when she’s be big enough to learn how to fight, and of one day yielding her father’s sword – the same Valkyrie blade she had been named after.

Although she’s not completely sure of what being a knight means, Valkyrie has a black and white code of honor, and she tries to follow it as best as she can. And while her rules might need some working on – no one is entirely sure why she has branded skinks as evildoers – her heart is in the right place, and the loyal little princess is more than eager to please and to help her elders.

And as the first step in any heroic adventure, she has decided to set out into the world to seek her fortune.
It just so happened that the Ashen clan were willing to take in a new apprentice in the form of the excited knight in training.
