❧ CASPIAN Bold | Ambitious | Dramatic | Vain The youngest of his three brothers, Caspian is the scion of the two largest families in Sornieth. From his mother's side, he is a member of the Night Warrior family, known for their strength and cunning in battle. From his father's side, Caspian is a descendant of Stogwen, a Coatl whose children and grandchildren are known for their adaptability and resourcefulness. A powerful mage with a flair for the dramatic, Caspian enjoys the access that his family names can give him. He isn't above flaunting his heritage in order to gain power and influence - titles and bloodlines may be means to an end, but that doesn't mean he isn't about to use all the resources he has at his disposal. Caspian loves the spotlight, and isn't above seeking glory for its own sake, or bolstering his strength using whatever means he can access. Caspian has learned better than to tamper with truly forbidden magic - he isn't going to summon any demons, and necromancy wasn't going to get him the results he desired. But other spells were fair game, and there were plenty of dragons to learn from. His rare heritage as an Earth dragon meant that many of his closest relatives couldn't teach him their particular brands of spells, but he could learn their fighting techniques, and he quickly became a battlemage of the same flavor as his mother and grandmother. Cunning and tenacious, Caspian moves with the speed of a striking snake, lunging forward to deliver his blows before retreating behind the impenetrable wall of his defensive spells. But Earth magic isn't just good for befuddling his foes and stopping attacks dead in their tracks - it has offensive uses as well. When sufficiently provoked, Caspian enjoys summoning a hail of meteors to pummel his opponents into submission - and if other dragons are watching, Caspian is always happy to provide a good lightshow. My team for the tournament will be Caspian, Aten, and Orion. |
