Help I impulsively bought another dragon
Mighty Lair
of the
Abiding Boneyard
Clan Information
My lair, my ships. SapphireDestinae and ShallowMoon are my sisters, so we share an address. We also trade with each other a lot. I am also almost always logged in, sometimes on multiple devices. Sorry!

I am not able to officially “friend” anyone that I don’t know in real life. However, I would still be happy to chat!

Dream Dragons:
Fritz Clone: Male/ Plague/ Silver/ Smoke/ White

Welcome to the Clan of the Howling Mesa! In the Abiding Boneyard this rock formation rises above the rot. The area it is situated in has rich deposits of platinum, which the Clan mines and sells to acquire its wealth. The Clan also hosts guests in the Howling Hotel, allowing travelers to rest away from the dangers of the Abiding Boneyard. The tunnels leading to its natural cave system were dug into the Mesa by a previous clan that no longer lives there. The Clan of the Howling Mesa expanded and improved the natural caves to better fit a growing Clan.

This first floor is the lobby of the Howling Hotel in which there is an underground lake, fed by an underground river. This lake provides precious fresh water to the clan and it’s guests. The Howling Hotel is an important place for pilgrims to rest on their journey to and from the Wyrmwound. The Howling Mesa is also a main stop in trade routes between the Sea of a Thousand Currents and the Plaguelands.

The second floor contains the guest rooms for visitors. The Hotel Guests are found here. These are the dragons that will soon be leaving the Clan, either to other Clans or to the Plaguebringer.

On the third floor, below the Howling Hotel, the managers/oligarchs have their private caves. Machi, sister to Seafoam and NIGHTMERE, is the leader of the Clan of the Howling Mesa. She rules alongside the Warsisters, her trusted friends who also happen to be powerful warriors. The Warsisters are Kallima, Vermonster, Phoebe, and Pixel. The Warfighters are the main defenders of the Clan. The Warfighters are Echo, Lune, and Zapp.

On the fourth floor there are the Citizens, the second class citizens of the Clan. It is split into three groups. The Red Rangers serve as the military in times of war. In times of peace, they gather resources, grow crops, and raise farm animals. The Civillians do not fight during times of war. They either provide an important service to the Clan or are unable to preform any duties for some reason. The third group is the Food Dudes. They are the chefs and waiters who work at Chez Dudes, the restaurant that feeds the Clan and the Hotel Guests

On the fifth floor there lives the third class dragons, the Others. They were summoned by Machi and the Warsisters using the Obelisk. The Obelisk was in the territory of the Clan of the Sacred Obelisk, ruled by Seafoam, Machi's sister. The Obelisk was a relic dating back to the Second Age. Machi discovered its power when she accidentally summoned Hercules from another planet. Upon arrival, his body was changed to look like a dragon from Sornieth. It was then that Machi discovered a way to build an army of powerful otherworldly beings. She summoned more like Hercules, creating the beginnings of an unstoppable army. Machi moved the Clan of the Howling Mesa to the Plague Flight when Seafoam started to get suspicious of the dragons seemingly appearing out of thin air.

Now, Machi uses the Gateway. On the mysterious sixth floor, there is a large cavern in which there is a door big enough for an imperial to walk through. This door is made of obsidian and is covered in runes the color of blood. For lack of a better name, Machi named it the “Gateway”. It can be used the same way as the Obelisk in the Leviathan Trench, owned by the Clan of the Sacred Obelisk. Machi and the Warsisters would do a ritual to open the Gateway (which otherwise cannot be opened), and a creature from another world would be sucked through. The creature’s body would be changed to look like a dragon from Sornieth, and would be forced to do whatever the Warsisters said.

The Others do the jobs no one else wants to do. They mine for platinum on the seventh floor, which is merely a fancy name for the mining tunnels. The platinum is then transported and sold all across Sornieth, which has allowed the Clan to live comfortably with their upper-middle class wealth.

Also on the mysterious sixth floor, there are the caverns in which the Unknown are imprisoned. Romeo, Juliet, Sakura, and Cupcake are the Wardens who live in the prison in order to prevent the Unknown from escaping. They follow a strict schedule, with one guarding the Level I’s, one guarding the Level II’s, one guarding the Level III’s, and one sleeping. With regular rotations, no Unknown have found an opening to escape. Yet.

But who are the Unknown? They vary greatly in appearance and behavior, so Unknown is simply a catch-all term for mysterious and unique beings not yet studied, described, or even known of. They are sorted into three Levels. Level I includes Unknown who won’t cause any harm, and can be anywhere from helpful to a prankster just having fun. Level II includes Unknown that will not cause harm without a reason, and would prefer to not have to. But if they feel threatened, they have enough power to cause some serious damage. Level III includes Unknown who desire to cause chaos and destruction. They will kill simply to kill, and they lack the self-control to keep their powers from causing unnecessary damage. In fact, they will let their powers run wild if they are not properly contained. Beware, for THEY HUNGER.

Unbeknownst to Machi and her Clan, there is a HIVE not too far away from their home. Hidden between a large pile of rocks is a tunnel. The tunnel leads to an underground cave system in which INFINITY has his HIVE.

There used to be another Clan living in and on the Mesa. They were the ones who found the cave system and began to make it comfortable. Only Machi, Pixel, FREEDOM know this. But the Resistance is gone now. Only FREEDOM knows what happened. INFINITY knows too, as he was the one who destroyed them.
