the vulture's nest

the vultures were founded when two of Bechan's children, each as feisty and willing to separate others from their property as their mother, decided to go into the business of banditry together. like vultures, they circle their prey, waiting for the right moment, when the prey is weak, to strike. and, like vultures, they pride themselves on cleaning up the 'dead meat' - those too foolish or foolhardy to survive in Sornieth's cutthroat underbelly.

it is common knowledge that the vultures, if the pay is right, will gladly serve as your very own private mercenary force. but the money had better arrive on time, or they might just decide that another arrangement might be more beneficial...

the vulture's nest, the place the pack calls home, is well-hidden. not a true nest at all, it is a small village, so carefully concealed by the shifting waterways of the Gladeveins that it is all but impossible to find. impossible, and dangerous, for the vultures go armed even within their stronghold, and are quick to turn on an outsider that doesn't have a very good reason for being present.
