If you do not want your dragons exalted, try selling for more than 8-9k. Even then there's no promises that it won't happen. People have bought dragons of mine for 50k and exalted them immediately. It's going to happen.
Once you sell a dragon, it does not belong to you anymore. That's how the site works, just like exalting is part of the site. Excess dragons need to be removed. I just exalted two of my own dragons, it's part of the game.
You deleted my comment. I will not delete yours so people can see that you came along trying to make me feel bad about exalting a dragon you sold for 5500t.
