the wasteland is a quiet place. here, under the reign of Animus, it is quieter still.

voices raspy with disuse. clumsy with language. some hatchlings never even learn verbal speech under their mute matriarch, communicating through movement alone.

it is an eerie sort of silence as dragons slip wordlessly by, passing on messages with the flick of a tail, the twitch of a claw.

and they do not forget their promises.
