The Forgotten Flight

Lore Of the Flight

Long long ago, when the 11 deities where still a new there was one who had been

there years before. He was not like the rest, he was but a normal dragon with great abilities. His name is The Wanderer, his home the Matter Shift. A land only few could enter. It rests between the Sea of a Thousand Currents and the The Windswept Plateau, but is invisible to the naked eye. Only very rare dragons are allowed safe passage and are able to see what those who aren’t gifted cannot. There are four different lands that make up the Matter Shift, the Shattered Forest, the Twisting Times, The Forgotten Cove, and the Mirror Mountain. This land is filled with dragons who are not bound by a flight. Instead they refer their ‘flight’ as The Forgotten. The Forgotten flight is made mostly of dragons who don’t want to live under the rule of a deity. Here everyone is considered kin. All dragons throughout this land rely and depend on each other and would do anything to protect their home. In times of trouble they look to The Wanderer for guidance they do not view his as a god they view him as a friend. Yet nobody knows his real name. He also does not see himself as a deity even though he has been alive on earth longer then any of the other 11. At first he was the only dragon who knew of the Matter Shift then others like him started to become, now this place is like any of the other Flight lands. Everyone in the Matter Shift respects the land and gives back to it. All who had entered the Matter Shift or has been born here knows that this place is a sanctuary for all those Forgotten. In the words of The Wanderer, “You have been brought here not by choice, but by destiny. This place sacred, yet forgotten. You must protect this place which allows you to inhabit it. Don’t be mistaken it is not yours to take.”
