In a forgotten corner a mother wraps her tail around her eggs, pulling them closer to her warmth. "I see great things happening to you. You will grow to be kind and caring. You will watch after dragons who need to be accepted and you will show them the love they were neglected. I am so proud of who you will be, please remember that. Sadly, I will not be here to see this come to fruition. I have to leave you but know that I truly do love you. Goodbye, my children." A single tear rolls down the mother's cheek before she finally flaps her wings, and leaves her eggs hidden and safe.
"That's so sad Mama, why did she have to leave them?"
"I don't know why she left, but I do know that it was the right thing for her to do."
"Will, you ever leave us, Mama?"
"Mama?"
"Sorry, but it is time to go to bed."
"Nooooo, Mama, please let me stay up a little longer"
"No, you have already stayed up too late."
"Okay, I love you!"

I hope I made you proud mother, I have done as you said. I care for so many children now. They are all so amazing. I can see now, why you had to leave. It is that same reason why I have to leave them as well. I will come to see you, please be there to greet me when I get there. I have missed you so much.
