Pretzel's mate, assistant, and translator. He's a very skilled forager. Not good at getting himself out of scrapes, but very good at getting into them, he relies on his familiar to keep look out when he's out collecting. Pretzel provides him with a steady supply of health potions and ointments. When out on his runs, he wears several layers and thick protective gear to help protect him against anything from thorny vegetation to whatever else he may encounter. Prickly bushes are the least of his worries.

He has terrible anxiety, sometimes debilitating, and finds his job helpful to cope. Pretzel has been working on a concoction to help sooth his anxiety but success has been minimal; this is less a reflection on Pretzel's skill, and more a testament to just how anxious Styx is.

He is the second lowest ranking Wildclaw in the clan. He is not the lowest due to the fact that he does provide for the clan's food, if not as a hunter, and because he does not decline to fight outright like Newt (the lowest). His fights generally occur outside the clan against the various wildlife, but they still count toward his rank.
He is almost never called upon to fight another Wildclaw, but he does his best when it happens, though he always loses. Funnily enough, he fights because he doesn't dare to refuse, so it's through his nervousness and cowardice that he protects his rank. In his mind, declining a fight invites far more conflict than the physical fight itself.

Many non-Wildclaw clan members unfamiliar with Wildclaw personalities and social politics find it odd that a Wildclaw would take up foraging, with their diet, but he just enjoys the sights and smells of various plants and finds the task of collecting them relaxing. After some initial confusion, some clan members have pointed out the benefit of having a forager who isn't liable to eat the supply before even making it back to the lair.
He started the tradition of the clan's gatherers gathering food that is not in their diet, which encouraged a pearlcatcher sea and pirate enthusiast, and a tundra who is good at hunting to take up their professions as gatherers (fishing and hunting, respectively).

He enjoys colors, and wears colorful decorations when not out gathering (when working he wears drab, neutral colors, although they tend to get stained after a while). He has an appreciation for Caronai's artistry, if a slightly guilty one, considering she causes his mate constant headache.

He loves all colors, but if he had to choose, a favorite would probably be purple.

Like NONE of the hoods and mantles match in color what is this they are obviously meant to be sets what the heck

Traded burlap hood for tanned rogue hood. Wish it was a dingier brown like the rest of his apparel, looks too nice to be all beat up but I like being able to see his eye finally, so.

I wrote his general bio/personality/profession before the lore came out but dang, it fits pretty well, I'm pleasantly surprised.
