Hey, thank you for your interest. The Subspecies is not something that you really "join," so much as you just get some dragons that match the criteria. I've been incredibly inactive with it, but overall it's pretty easy to find dragons on the AH that match

Awh thank you! RatsTail was an odd dragon but I decided to keep her and she kinda grew on me! Now shes got a little crew of black an white friends, all with strange names
