UmbreIIa's Clan

The land here was dead, nothing but the oddly colored dirt and gravel for so long. The battle of the self-proclaimed gods had turned the once calm and peaceful shaded lands into a loud, bloody battle, with not even the song of birds in the silence that lingered when the fights would pause to regroup. A fight that has gone on for multiple years with neither side giving up, the leaders still alive with only their cowardice to explain why. Sending others in to attack in place of themselves. Over time the others would begin to realize this battle was useless, though most kept fighting against or with their will for one reason or another. More years passed until one dragon, a skydancer who went by the title of Nova, had enough. Through trickery and force, they and a few others were able to get the two "prodigies" to have a straightforward, one on one battle, a battle that went past the normal limits of dragons, with more blood than could even be in one dragon spilled multiple times over into the ground below. A battle that went on for days, and eventually stretched into weeks. Until the very end, both with claws around their throats, fell simultaneously, the same second as the other. They both lie dead on the old grassless field that had been used only to fight for so long. A few honest followers would attempt to still win the fight for their side, but it was a fruitless attempt. The dragons who knew of what nova did to end this fight, stepped forward, holding a sort of speech, none of them could return to their lairs, none of them had anywhere else to go, so the suggestion was to simply rebuild a small lair here with the remainder of the fighters. Of course, there were some arguments, but the overall decision was made to rebuild. With time and the magic of some, the field and forests around were regenerated bigger than before, to protect them from any further ruin, and to make up for what they destroyed. The large ravine left by the few magic blows of the fight was made into the small village for the dragons who were left, with new dens made of mud and brick, as well as the stone walls and mushroom stems being carved into homes. The majority of the new clan, Ravion, was normal, just dragons living their lives, but there was a significant number of them who were hidden away in the darker corners, hidden in even the stalagmites, who chose instead to sneak around and steal, to kill for gold. Though even the criminals of this place mostly respect Nova and his second in command as well as partner, they both live with the constant thought hidden in the back of their minds as to what would happen if the criminal side was to take over and become the majority of the lair, fearing the battle between Scaff and Egonya would reoccur.
