HydroElle's Clan
Sink into the depths of the waters
Clan Info
Thousands of years ago, in the depths of the forest, forlorn eggs were planed into a swampy nest of plants. The plants slowly seeped into the shells of the eggs as they developed. As the dragons grew, the plants did too. They protected and nurtured each other. While the dragons hatched, the plants flowered and the two emerged as a mess of plant and scales. Over time, the plants sunk deeper under the skin of the dragons, but the flowers still left their defining colors on the dragons. Some say, even after hatching, the energy of the plants remains, protecting and nurturing the dragons.
As generations continued, the plants were less and less apparent. Dragons finally found their place in the world and lived less fear of famine and poaching.
But then. . .
Their world decayed before their very eyes. Famine, pestilence, plague, all of these things built up into a sudden decline in the dragon population. Entire families died over night. Hatchlings ate scraps and parents starved. The few eggs that had been laid were only days from hatching, but no food would be available to sate their voracious appetite. The very existence of the elders depended on the plants. They knew the next generation must find the help of the plants to keep them alive before it was too late.
