Carved vertically into the dark stone, the deepest layers of the Rimebone Stockade entomb many of the ice flight's most important treasures. Utilized more as a storage vault than a prison, the relics and wonders within are protected by the region's artificers and researchers, who make their lairs in the uppermost cells of the pit.
Protected from unwanted attention by claws of ice and cursed chains, the Rimebone Stockade has long been more than the vault of the Ice Flight...
Those who were granted access to the ancient place, renowned scientists and academics, established an elite society within the perfectly isolated stockade, making Rimebone a sort of headquarter for the great thinkers and influencers of Sornieth.
Unnoticed by the Flights, dragons from all over fly in and out of the territory to exchange knowledge, ideas, drama and so forth. Nobody would guess that behind the walls of ice, the long steep tunnels and the cruelty of the winds surrounding it, was a flourishing community.
Chatter fills the rooms, art adorns the walls and the smell of fresh food winds itself along the hallways in a place thought to be lifeless.
