Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this young pearlcatcher wandered a little too far from her home lair, and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Charm had been out of her element for a while now.
Literally- she'd been born in Nature, but had spent most of her formative years traveling. The clans she'd traveled to had indicated that this wasn't so unusual- that lots of hatchlings grow up in countries other than the one they were born in. So maybe it didn't bear saying, that she was also in-between clans as she grew.
But she thought it did- if only because for every dragon she met that said she was a common case, she met five who'd grown up in one clan, and stayed there their whole lives- until they left to the service of a deity.
She'd met a lot of dragons like that.
It wasn't dull- she understood that it was a good thing, when dragons set off to live in exaltation. It was in the word they used for it; exalted. She just... didn't see the appeal. Not even because she wanted to wander. Dragons, under their gods, were known to go to war in far-off lands, and in times of peace to offer their skills to the rest of the continent.
But one way or another, she just wasn't interested in seeing the faces of any of the eleven. Well... She said she wasn't interested, but who doesn't want to see the truth of one's deities?
She wanted there to be a way for her to see the truth of the eleven without having to leave to their service.
In Arcane, the dragons spoke of the stars like they were gods in their own right; for some, a way to divine the future, or the truth, and for others, an unreachable goal, endless and beautiful.
They were very nice stars, of course, but just stars. Still, she tried to understand their love, and spent many a night gazing up at them. Searching for this 'truth' they said one could find there, in the black glimmering sky. But if there was a truth there that they saw, it was not hers to divine. Eventually, she gave up, packing her rucksack and returning to the roads.
If there was truth to be found in the world, perhaps someone else would be able to help her see it. The dreamers, she decided, were too clouded in their dreaming to see truth.
