This clan came to be when a male Fae and a female Guardian, both young in age, had crossed paths with one another and realized they had suffered the same fate. Both have been abandoned eggs in what appeared to be the Windswept Plateau. They did not know why, but now they only had each other and that was all that mattered. They accompanied each other, Tanis and Cord, as they traveled the plateau and have found themselves growing older and caring for no one but themselves. They managed to gather up some apparel and food for themselves and one day decided they were going to try the impossible.

There have been stories that only the strongest and united clans can overcome the Twisting Crescendo and reach up to the Cloudsong. Being the only members of their “clan,” they thought they could overcome it without a problem. The daring duo, with Cord snuggled and protected in the scarf Tanis wore, jumped in and tried making their way through.

Tanis awoke first, shooting her eyes open as she realized she was back on land. She desperately looked around, noticing the small purple fae not too far from her. She nudged him awake, glad to find that he too survived their idiotic idea. Taking a good look around, they realized they were in the Zephyr Steppes. A disappointment to say the least. But how did they get here? It was almost impossible that they were simply thrown out here by the gusts of the Twisting Crescendo, much less survive it. The wind suddenly had picked up, blowing the feathers on Tanis’ wingpiece strong enough to tug her to a small area. Small pebbles and blades of grass were swirled around by the small gusts of wind, causing the two to think about what this might mean. Could this be the Windsinger’s way to communicate with his children? Having small breezes guide them through their troubles? They pondered on it a little, their decision only being fueled by the sound the wind made: “Stay.”

A soul helps guide this clan. It only communicates with few, but its guidance is in the interest of all. Whether it blows the feathers of those dragons who wear wingpieces or speaks through the light of lanterns and bulbs. This clan gives a home to those who are lost and help them realize their potential so they may move on confidently as the wind’s nature to travel begins to settle in.
