❝ She was silent on her feet, crawling her way towards the prize: a lone rabbit. The poor thing had wandered off from the safety of the forest that lived along the edges of the Scarred Wasteland ... and so, it was a free catch. Any time those beady eyes locked on her, she became completely still, breath hitching in her throat as she waited. Muscles tensed—and she lunged, sharp teeth sinking into the neck. There was a struggle, then limpness.

Placing the rabbit down, Aedinius knelt and thanked Plaguemother and Nature for the food and prayed for the spirit of the animal to be free.

She went by the name of KeyLime when she was born, and has founded a small clan with her old mate, Shikai; she never quite felt like she belonged in the lightning-tinged lands she was born on, even though she desired to. The two dragons had a young Guardian together when Shikai was still one himself, one who now has long disappeared to serve another deity and live his life. As their small clan continued to fill up with more and more dragons, the reserved Mirror decided to go on an exaltation journey, perhaps to learn more about herself and the lands around her. So she left to serve the Stormcatcher, but on the way she heard a quiet voice worming into her mind, guiding her steps away from the tall Tempest Spiral, across the sunlit lands of the Sunbeam Ruins, and the dark and winding woods of the Tangled Wood, until she found herself in the Scarred Wasteland.

It felt so good to sink her claws in the ground and the stink and everything was a familiarity she had never felt before, and never knew she could feel. She went to serve the Plaguebringer, in HER homeland. She changed through so many arduous trials that burned her flesh and tainted her in such ways that she bore no similarity to who she was before in the physical terms, besides being a Mirror, the species that was meant to fester in these lands.

But she did not know that she would ever come across what was once her clan, her old home that migrated from the Shifting Expanse to the decayed lands. And she came home. The two best things in one place. Her mate looked at her in surprise, but he knew it was her, changed and warped from the lands, but still her.

And he took her in.

She was happy.

Although she knew they were never to be what they were before, she now realized she had left a part of herself with him, and seeing Shikai again was a breath of fresh air. Their first week back had resulted in a clutch of three young dragons, and though she had not had a child since their very first had departed to live his own life, she loved the three regardless.

She does not socialize with many, and tends to keep closer to the dragons born to the Plague lands; she holds a neutrality towards the rest. She is a ferocious fighter and can be counted on to protect the clan if a threat ever arises. Frequently she leaves to hunt on the lands and in different packs, but she often finds herself back to where Shikai is.

She has a weird hobby of clawing into dead trees to try to make sculptures out of them, even if to many dragons they don't really ... make a lot of sense. No one questions her artwork though, and certainly wouldn't dare to disturb her in the midst of it. Those who have regret it.
