Meenal

Meenal was shyer than her brother when they arrived. She would flinch at the slightest noise, and would frequently wake up in the middle of the night, fretful, crying and homesick. Whenever she did call out, a dragon would be there to help her fall back asleep. Whether it was Nitra, Karkraix or Leijon, just the contact and the singing of another dragon would eventually put her back to sleep. When she grew up and matured, Meenal became more vivacious. She was the first one to laugh and the last one to leave the party. She enjoys exploring, and each day she will be outside the lair, stretching her wings, looking for a new adventure to have. She is the head scavenger, and will often lead other dragons on excavations and to look for treasure. Often she will lead hatchlings out on little 'adventures', where other dragons would have planted little trinkets overnight for the hatchlings to discover. While she is not necessarily a good mother figure per se, she is more of the 'cool aunt', teaching hatchlings how to discover, explore, and ask questions. She almost acts like a hatchling herself, however in the most unexpected moments her maturity and wisdom will shine through. When on a nest, or when she has hatchlings, she will venture out and bring trinkets back for the nest, as well as food for her hatchlings. Every morning she wakes early to retrieve food and trinkets from faraway corners of the Labyrinth for her familiar, a Maren Ambusher, because it cannot fly or travel. She will wake her brother, Eridanos, and together they will have a morning flight through the forest.
Meenal has a place on the Council of Elders as Head Scavenger.
