It’s almost Halloween again! It feels like the month just started; I can’t believe it’s almost over already. As you get older, it feels like time passes more and more quickly. I’ll be visiting the state tomorrow— I’ll try to make my way to your grave to say hello!

Once again there's a chill in the air and another year is coming to a close. It's been a warmer winter compared to the usual; we haven't had any snow that actually accumulated so far. I'm probably jinxing that by saying, but that's fine with me since I work from home, haha. I hope you're well and I wanted to remind you that I think about you every day. With it getting closer to the anniversary of your passing, my heart grows heavy and I really do wish I could have you over the celebrate the new year, but instead I will be mourning your absence. I'll forever miss you.
Dropping by again to say hello. I'm always thinking about you and I hope that wherever you may be, you're happy! I don't know what I believe in, but I sure do hope I'll see you again someday.
As things are starting to warm up again, it makes me remember our brunches up town. I miss riding my bike up to your house and walking around together. If we could I’d take you down to the docks and we could dip our feet in the water. I miss you.
I had hoped it was anyway. I still can’t believe it’s true. It feels like you’re just home, some minutes away from me and that we haven’t spoken in awhile. I miss you so much. You’ll always be my best friend.
January is so difficult anymore. I was going to message you on the 1st, but it’s always so surreal. I’m laying in bed staring up at the ceiling remembering when I got the phone call. When I heard, “Clare died” I thought it was someone else.
It's crazy to think you'd be 21 now. I always imagined us going places together as adults and growing old. Next month, it'll be another year without you. I miss you.
There were little pumpkins on the tables and I know you would've loved it. It felt weird being there again without you. While I was there I also visited the antique shop we'd always visit. They blocked off the room where we'd try on hats which made me sad.
