Sparkspell City is an underground metropolis in the Carrion Canyon, the only legal territory of Clan Sparkspell of any significant size, primarily known for its collection of magical lore and willingness to harbor fugitives. The city can be difficult to find, given its location, but no attempt is made to keep it hidden, and newcomers are welcomed with only moderate suspicion.

Despite its illicit activities the city’s main claim to fame is its concentration of scientists, whose studies are often magical or otherwise dangerous in nature, and its vast and mostly ill-gotten library. The clan values the pursuit of knowledge above all else, and while individual ideals may differ, all work toward this common goal.
