~The Calm Deep~
Once upon a time, there was a little dragon with no mother, and no friends, and no place to truly call his own.
He was small, and squishy, and wet, with little dusky-dusty colored frills and weak eyes, and so they called him Newt, but they didn't call him very often.
He didn't care for being alone. All he really wanted was to have a place in life, and to be surrounded by others who understood and valued him, and maybe even loved him.
So off he flew, though the way was long and his wings were small, until he found a vast, empty cave sitting over the little tidepools at the sea's edge, on the outskirts of the Tsunami Flats. Not far from his home, the sea bed dropped suddenly, and he could dive there to greater depths than he'd previously dreamed.
It wasn't much, not then, but even so it felt like home, and he quickly began to build up his little hoard, storing treasure and trinkets and bits of stone and twig that caught his fancy, and he began to stockpile food, and he hoped with all his tiny heart that soon he'd share the small bounty he had with others.
And lo, it wasn't long after that that he heard the soft wing-beats of another Fae, as he rested after a long day of improving his new home. They edged shyly up to the edge of the tidepool, where he sat in contemplation of all the little urchins and crabs that made their home in the shallow water, and they looked down into the water and saw the stars overhead reflected in silvery scattering light.
And, with a tiny tilt of the head, each saw the reflection of the other, and in that reflection, their eyes first met.
And from there on out, their quiet home became a refuge for outcasts and wanderers, for contemplative souls and questioning minds and all those who loved the cool, blue deep.

Hello, I heard that it was your birthday today! Happy birthday, fellow droplet C:
Thank you so much for the beautiful baby!
Ah - was hoping for that female specifically because her genes were the only ones that worked with an unusually gened male i have, and the babe you gave is male. perhaps I can breed a similar female from him though - so thank you very muchly.
What was the gorgeous baby for? I found him in my crossroads with no message.
So many gorgeous babies! I love Noemi !! Such great colors. :)
HECK YEAH it is!
Haha no prob, I recently had to clear out the lair a bit myself. It's so hard not to impulse buy!
AH THANK YOU THEY'RE GONNA HAVE BABBYS SOON IF YOU WANT ONE :D
Actually, I have no real plans for her! My lair right now is a 'collect really pretty dragons, dress them up and ogle them' lair and less focused on breeding, so if you'd like to breed them I'd be up for it!
Dangit, now I'm kind of invested in random happenstance dragon shipping. This is my life.
That gembond is perfect. A+ Ozma. Flawless. All the awards.
Real talk: There are prettier dragons in my lair but Lisa and Frank are my pride and joy. My paste-on-a-trapperkeeper-with-a-billion-sparkly-stickers pride and joy. Thank you for appreciating their ridiculousness. Also OZMA *INCOHERENT SQUEALING*
