Cerastes' Clan
hhhhhhh
Clan Info
The Midnight Sun: Nestled deep in the Cloudscrape Crags, the Midnight Sun occupies the ancient underground lair of a long-dead clan. A band of misfits drawn together by circumstance, the Midnight Sun was responsible for gathering the forces necessary to defeat Cambrian's hordes at the Fortress of Ends. All is not peaceful though; the clan is still busy with locating and driving out the remaining enemy clans still scattered through the Icefield.
Winterguard: After Cambrian's forces were driven out of the Fortress of Ends, sightings of strange dragons began to be reported around the ice spires. No one knew where this group came from, and what's stranger is that some of them appear to...glow? The Winterguard's intentions seem noble, and they gladly welcome weary travellers into their temple. They are largely a welcome presence, even if they seem not quite mortal.
Feywilds: In a well-hidden location on the edge of the Gladeveins lies the fair kingdom, inhabited by beings that resemble dragons but have the air of the otherwordly about them. No one - not even the inhabitants of the Feywilds themselves - is sure how this place, or its unique magics, came to be. Here, the water is warm and the climate tropical, and flora and fauna abound. The dragons here are blessed with great beauty as well as a prolonged lifespan, and many devote themselves to art as masterful as they. However, the longer one stays in this paradise, the more difficult it becomes to leave.
Hinterlands: The Hinterlands is less a clan and more a shifting alliance of small groups throughout the Shrieking Wilds. It's an area full of natural beauty, with large swaths of jungle yet unexplored, and attracts those who prefer the risks of the wilderness to the drudgery of city life.
Watch-On-The-Hill: The small village of Watch-On-The-Hill is located on a large island halfway between the Windswept Plateau and the Southern Icefield. The landscape is one of sheer cliffs and bleak moors, and villagers must contend with harsh winters. Nevertheless, they are a cheerful and welcoming community. Most live within the walls of Sometime Abbey, which was once a religious outpost; the nuns have since abandoned the island to seek a less punishing climate.
Nudibranche: The strange town of Nudibranche is located on an island in the Crystalspine Reaches, and is said to be a particularly potent magical focus. Many of the town's inhabitants devote their lives to rigorous study of astronomy and the arcane, and the energy of the island seems to have affected them uniquely. Some denizens live a semi-aquatic life, even those who are not waterborn. There are even tales of dragons who have dived down into the magic-infused ocean, eager to seek out mysteries of the deep, who were never seen again...
Tumult: The company town of Tumult is located in the Blacksand Annex, and is largely occupied by industrious fireborn and lightningborn. It isn't a bad place to live, as long as you don't mind hard work, but the dragons of Tumult were not the first to occupy the land on which the town was built.
Under: Deep below the earth's surface and only accessible via miles of winding tunnels, the sprawling city of Under connects Greatwyrm's Breach with caves underneath the Wispwillow Grove. It is home to all manner of individuals, and a haven for those who do not wish to show their faces aboveground. Trade booms here, but so does crime, and there are whispers of worse things lurking in the dark caverns...
