>> Once, long ago, a Fae saved a Mirror...

He was injured, far worse than he had ever been before. The Mirror was young, though not so much as to be considered a hatchling, and had fallen behind the rest of his kind with which he hunted. Curled beneath a softly glowing mushroom, a much smaller form flitted into his view. Face obscured with mask and cowl, a knotted staff balanced precariously where wing met back, the small Fae blinked slowly at him. A weak growl in warning, but the young Fae only gave a small snort in return, darting forward to circle and observe. 'You are hurt. Badly.' The Fae noted after some time. Without another word, and before the Mirror could even attempt to respond, the small dragon was gone.
Eyes closed, only to open again when, soon after, the Fae returns. A few fish landed almost directly in front of his nose, making him huff weakly in surprise, before vanishing around his side once more. A small moment of consideration, and all are gone. By the time he was finished, the Fae was sitting in front of him again, eyes unblinking. He could move with no pain. His eyes meet the Fae's, and soon after they leave that mushroom's light together.

'Is this place not good enough?' Sand colored tail striped with crimson twitches irritably as the Mirror watched the Fae, once again inspecting a small system of caverns found below the ground. The entrance to these was found at the base of a small hill.
'It will serve my purposes.' The Fae confirmed slowly, darting out of the cavern's entrance. 'We will stay here.' The Mirror narrows his eyes, but says nothing. Waiting. She would explain, at some point or another. She generally did. 'We are starting a clan.'
A rough growl escaped from the Mirror then. He had never agreed-
'Lost Souls will be welcome here.'
The growl faded at the Fae's next words. Always a reason, as she so often told him.
Very well, then. They were to stay there, apparently.

And they did.

>> Uprising
A Skydancer, welcomed among the clan as family at a young age, began to plot. Why did they live within the shadows? Did her family not deserve the light? What of the lush greenery that thrived beneath it?
The Radiance rose, and with her light she fought. Not a battle of tooth and claw, but of voice and mind. Others began to wish for light. For a life outside the Tangled Wood. The Juggernaut growled, but the Matriarch silenced him and agreed to their whims.
The Lost Souls found a new home within the Labyrinth.
