Within a spiraling cave network of the Hewn City is a clan of misfit dragons who love one another. Though all complete weirdos, they are most certainly scholars of their niche fields and have dedicated their lives to their study of their passions. This clan is an institute of sorts, full of academics who are all total weirdos supporting each others' passions and tolerating the weird side effects.

A kindhearted and maternal fae named Zinnia leads with clan with a heart of gold, and knives. A stabbed golden heart. Think about it that way. Gross, huh? This clan's lair is a refuge of sorts, for dragons the region over who want to study their passions in an accepting and close-knit community. As such, dragons from across flights live here researching their interests and writing about their findings. Or at least, writing about their findings when their pens aren't submerged in ooze. Mawsitsit has a lot of that and it's been moving on its own and eating pens lately.
