An elegant and streamlined Nocturne alights itself in the sand as you approach a massive, half-submerged pirate ship that is banked in a glittering lagoon. Her scales are a magnificent kaleidoscope of vibrancy, a sea of Caribbean frothing with pearly shards. Her delicate and gentle eyes are the ocean itself, a beautiful, deep blue. As you peer behind her, you notice a briny-ocean blue Nocturne that thrones himself at the entrance of the lagoon, his leathery wings outstretched like a Cormorant.

The crystalline female Nocturne's voice is a soft, warm hum that reminds you of the gentle crashes of waves rolling onto a beach when she opens her mouth and begins to speak:

»Greetings, Wanderer. I am Flotsam, the Captain of the Seventh Sea Pirate Crew.
Here, we live under the reign of the Great Tidelord, the master of the waters- he who churns the tides. He has taught us that the water is what binds us, and no matter the obstacle, we will always flow through it together, as a current.

She looks backwards, and breathes in the taste of the salty air. A smile crosses her face.

»Be that as it may, we're still pirates. And that means we'll plunder and hunt for those...hard-to-reach trinkets. Come with me. I am sure the rest of my crew would be enthralled to meet you- I trust you are fine with the scent of fish? Yes? Well, then- follow! Oh, and ignore the pile of bones and shackles over to the left-those are, ah- salvaged from the ship."
