Update on Phase 3! With Volkani + the Kaurite Twins' latest hatchlings, I can reliably get Primary + Tertiary colors in Red tones, so Phase 4 will be more focused on getting the Secondarys in the Gold tone range
Both of the Kaurite twins had hatchlings! Kauri with 2 (Mara, Meliare) Kaurite with 4 (Rayda, Riara, Vali, Mairoz) Phase 2 was for moving from brown to red, not really paying attention to genes, just colors. Volkani's 5 (:o !!!) Eggs are next! :
So, after your comment I went down the research rabbit hole at Predict Morphology and I THINK Crackle's best when it's simmilar to the Primary? Mint's White/White, Volkani's Sanguine/Red, Kiza(67921274)'s Amethyst/Nightshade but NOT Pear's Cerulean/Pear
Definitely don't mind keeping you updated! :) I'm actually learning a lot from both working on the project and talking to you about it! Like, before this project I would've agreed with you about Crackle? But it works pretty well in Earth/Rock/Lava themes!
Update on Agate(dragon/68248700)'s 1st hatchlings! Danaus will be sent to the AH (due to lack of space) but the Kaurite twins are moving to Phase 2 (breeding with Maysolite + Volkani) and Daite's staying for a little while at least (breeding with Keane)
Nice! Hope the gene acquiring goes quick! Ik it can be a while sometimes. Hope they look just as you plan :3 (lol sorry little tired so I’m a bit out of it)
Thank you for commenting! :D <3 I bought Agate (dragon/68248700) for a specific project (breeding a Crimson Primary + Metals Daub Secondary), but she'll also be a great addition to my Lava/Fire/Rock themed dragons!
I just realized that the dragon I bought from you shares my birthday haha. That makes her extra special, thanks!
