The lair of Avalon is known as a melting-pot and has a reputation for attracting more dragons than it births.

Clan Lore:
A fae and a guardian were the first dragons of Avalon and were the founders. Respectively, their names were Hecate and Apollo. Hecate was black in color with purple wings, and she was the first to lead. Her mate, Apollo, was the color of the sun.

The foundation of Avalon attracted the attention of three dragons, two lightning and one plague. With the help of those three dragons, they brought Avalon to the might it is today.

Eventually, however, when war came to the Iceflight, Hecate and Apollo volunteered to be exalted, and they left their most trusted dragon left to rule: Makrin.

This did not settle well with the population, however. Makrin was birthed from a lightning clan. But, having been the first dragon to assist Hecate and Apollo, he proved to be a strong and open-minded leader and is now loved among the lair.
