Clan of the Seaside Citadel

There was once a mighty and prosperous clan that had been ravaged by a terrible disease. It was ruthless, culling the weak as well as the strong. In its destructive wake it left only a small handful, the clan leader, her mate and a young dragon named Louie. They tried to lived as they once did but the halls were hollow and cold. The smell of burning flesh from the great pyres still hung in the air and clung to the walls. The spark of light that it once held had died. The sickness had turned their own home into a corpse.
The remaining three, though wretched and hopeless, had no choice but to set off for brighter lands. They endlessly marched over hills, valleys and meadows. Shambling though forests, rivers and moors until they finally made it to the sea. The clan leader spotted and old castle, almost reduced to rubble, lying along the coast. Light was restored in the their eyes and hope rekindled in their hearts. There, there would be their new home.
As they were rebuilding a friendly pirate sailed by and decided to help them by bring supplies and spreading the word of a new lair in need. Slowly new dragons came and aided in the restoration of the castle into a safe refuge. After the castle was rebuilt it became known as Seaside Citadel.
