RampantMutation's Clan

The clan of RampantMutation is all about adapting and spreading. Originally the clan started out on the fringes of the Wasteland and after their humble beginnings they’ve always been on the move, changing home areas as they roam the land. After several generations the clan nearly lost themselves after falling into the Sea of a Thousand currents. By beseeching the Tidelord, they were granted Sanctuary, though their progenitors left not long after. The clan lived in the shallows not too long, eventually taking the challenge of diving deeper into the more dangerous territory of the Reef. This has made visiting the clan difficult. Even after many years there are still penty in the clan who worship their original Deity, the Plaguebringer, while the newer dragons are more closely tied to the Tidelord. Overall the number of Plague dragons has shifted into more a minority as the clan grows, but they’ve never forgotten their roots. They always live by the motto “Adapt and Survive” and almost all clan members are capable fighters. It is unusual to see a dragon without scars. As even more time has passed, the clan had decided to return to their roots… urged by something they could not describe. Not long after were the lines of War drawn and their old Deity from the time spent in deep water had seemingly vanished. They decided to stay and not long after their return that the very founders of the clan had returned, this time for good. Not long after has a new system of leadership and government sprouted from these events. Old clan leaders become teachers to the new and all have equal right in taking the leading position for themselves… only if they can prove it. Only adult dragons may challenge to current leader in both a battle of wit and combat to prove they are both strong and mentally sound. Should they succeed they take the role as Clan Leader and the old leader steps down into a position on the Council. Since then there have been a few leaders, some gone off to help in Dominance while others stayed behind. It has been so long since this clan has started and even after spending more time in their homeland, the urge to move has struck again. After much debate from all members, they've settled to go further than before. They've flown for so long to reach the edge of the ice, but it is worth it. They now call the Tundra their new home. only time will tell how they adapt to these new surroundings.
