Welcome to the place that Loki's army - the protectors of the Scarred Wasteland - calls their home. The Onyx System takes up quite a large amount of space, and at first appears to be just a quarry of sorts. However, upon closer inspection of the stony area you see openings. These are all named cave openings, some leading into tunnel systems and some opening up into hollows. Every member of the army has memorised each and every one of these openings, and the openings and caves within. It's a need, as the army has fallen under siege a few times - by small and large opponents - and have needed the knowledge to simply help them hide, if that need opened up.
If you take the time to fully explore the system, you will come across a couple of tunnels that head down. Each one of these tunnels leads to an entire clearing beneath that of the quarry floor, which has more tunnels and caves attached to it. There are a few more clearings, each designated meeting areas for certain things such as feeding, hiding and general announcements and get-togethers. There aren't that many, and they're nowhere near as spacious as the quarry clearing, but they're decent enough. This underground system also has black-painted flooring, and is where most dens are located. Loki has memorised each and every one of these, and it's become a goal for the rest of the army to achieve. Loki laughs when it's brought up in conversation, though.
