The dragons of Clan Incandesce gathered with a singular idea in mind - the pursuit of knowledge of the past and present. Parked in a small territory that had a suitable amount of ruins to make homes out of, the clan has ‘set up shop’ so to speak in a place they know they’ll best be able to work on their goal.
The territory itself is spread out among the livable ruins. One of the most well known buildings houses the clan’s collective knowledge - found in a spiraling tower, which was once nearly crumbling but now patched up by dragon ingenuity, it contains rows and rows of books with more than enough room to fit more as needed. All of the books within are complete and written by the dragons (past and present) of the clan on subjects of interest. All the books are ordered by these subjects (of which there are many), and outside clans seeking knowledge are allowed in to read and research only if they can offer some bit of knowledge in return. Around this one tower is various living areas for the dragons, including one area specifically for any eggs incubating.
The clan has a notable but loose leadership. The founder is the head simply by seniority (and, if you ask any in the clan, she is by the far the most studious of them all and has written the most books for the collection), though she works to create a ring of elders from every land. The elders are picked by their skill and ability to add knowledge from their respective earlier clans and are also well-respected by the clan at large. The founder initially picked the ring, but as it gets bigger, she intends on making the decision with the rest of the elders. The rest of the clan usually have dual jobs as researchers and whatever else their interests lie, though some simply are there because of their abilities beyond study.
