They heard, of course, of the curse.
It had been long, long ago a happy family had chosen that place as their lair. It grew, with more and more members joining their small clan, and the matriarch couldn't be more overjoyed of her luck.
Until, of course, that happened.
It started with the kidnapping of the clan's children. They were taken to be sold to other clans, in other regions, and no one knew for what purpose. But they disappeared. One by one.
Soon enough, corpses were found by the borders of the lair. It started slowly, but eventually, it'd hit the entire population, including the ever-so-caring matriarch, no more than a haunting presence now.
There was no fighting the curse, the old population learned.
But these kids... they feared nothing. Whether it was the dumb courage of youth, or simple misunderstanding, they had vowed to go to the cursed old lair, and bring it to life again.
And so they did, happily running through the fallen trees, shouting joyfully for the adventures to be had.
How much time they'd last... Well, who knew?
I did. And still do.
Through my will, they live or they die. The curse is but a creature hidden on the shadows, so dark the Shadowbinder's own children could not see.
But let them stay for a little more...
Here I'm hoping for a good game...
After all, they'll certainly meet me soon enough.
(Yes, this is an exalting lair.)

Thanks! His lore isn't done yet though, don't know precisely what I want him to do yet. Why'd you thank to check on him?
