The clan that calls itself The Crown of Thorns is much more peaceful than the name might suggest, but don't underestimate them. Like the succulent of the same name, these dragons are simple, brightly-colored folk who look harmless at first glance, but who have wicked defenses against those who would harm them.
Dragons in this clan are peaceful farmers who tend primarily to crops of cacti and succulents. Their lush farmlands are a vital source of water in times of drought, as well as being the major export to neighboring Earth Flight clans. However, these crops attract a lot of unwanted attention from Beastclans and other dragon flights. The majority of Thorn clan dragons have had some battlefield training, and there is a small force of heavily armed guards who take it in turns to patrol the clan's lands.
Water is a valuable resource, and water farming is a dangerous profession. Even the most peaceful gardeners know how to use their claws.
