The Arcus Aurum is a once-mighty castle that now stands in ruins, on the border of the Sunbeam Ruins and the Tangled Wood.
It was once an institution of magical study for the Acolytes of Sornieth. Years later, it became inhabited by a herd of centaurs, who dedicated generations of their lives to preserving the ancient scrolls and texts left behind.
Saccha, the leader of the Centaur herd, strove for peace with dragonkind. So much so, that she went against her own sister clan, to rescue a dragon egg from them, risking her life in the process. Saccha nurtured this egg herself, against the will of her clan, and from that egg, hatched Helix.
As she grew older, she slowly gained the unconditional love and trust of Saccha's clan, and in time they imparted on her all of their knowledge, and their ways.
To this day, both Saccha's clan, and Helix's clan inhabit the Arcus Aurum, in mutual love and respect of one another.
