Guacana is what I decided to call myself when I embarked upon my SEARCH, leaving my parental clan for the rest my adult life, I decided to re-brand everything about my life, including my name. Since I LOVE avocado and guacamole so much, and I happen to be naturally colored similarly to that particular, wonderful fruit, I decided to call myself something that was representative of something I love. Hopefully this would be the start of a recurring theme for my future life and charge, what ever or whomever that may be.
One fateful day, while foraging some of my favorite leaves, I found I was in competition for the same tasty vittles as this amazingly cute fur ball of a Tundra, Griffin. We both knew instantly that if we were both going to get what we both wanted, we would have to share, and there we became fast friends and eventually; partners in life, foraging, and lair comforts.
At first I thought Griffin was to be my charge. BUT, over time, sharing the responsibility of keeping a lair together, and later, a shared nest, I came to re-realize that I wanted to have more than just one element to my 'charge'. I have realized, I wish to be surrounded by a diverse and multi-faceted entourage of dragons, each who contributes their very own special essence into life (in general), and who wish to share the responsibility of diversity in life, and in lair.
So, it has come to pass, that my 'charge', is my diverse lair, which has grown and branched out to other lairs, by way of offspring wishing to explore and realize their own future lives. Ah yes, the circle of life - I guess it could be said that my 'charge' is to harbor a diverse lair representative of a small version of our realm, and to encourage all offspring to do the same. Thereby, hopefully, perpetuating a harmonious circle = a realm full of accepting dragons who understand that every dragon is different, and each contributes their own special essence to every place and dragon and beast they encounter, as each journeys through life...
