I'm really tired of clown and eye spots and so many other combinations are so pretty but this is who I am now. I made my choice. Mourn for me.

Clan lore is definitely sorta in the process of being written I swear. This will be a respectable lair someday. And it probably won't be called Clown Town. Unless I can justify it.

Along a mountain range bordering the Greatwyrm's Breach exists a fairly obvious lair entrance, marked with large columns of carved earth. Initially a decently sized Longneck settlement, it was repurposed by dragons after being found almost entirely abandoned. Thus the "Longgone" Clan was born. Few actually agree to call it that, but other options are hard to come by.

Unique to the clan is its close connection with the original Longneck inhabitants. Those who remained when the area was discovered found the encroaching dragons, initially just a pair of young adults, potentially more helpful than harmful, and so a bond was forged. Coexistence has allowed both dragon and Longneck to gain more territory over time, and the two species have found themselves better protected and provided for. Each also assumes they have "domesticated" the other.

Inside the mountain exists many halls and corridors leading to individual dens and common rooms alike, furnished with polished stone and sophisticated touches brought in by Longneck or pearl catchers, whichever got to which piece first.

The lair is a constantly expanding work in progress, with a dedicated crew of architects working to connect and expand the paths and tunnels so that every area may be accessed by all members of the clan. Areas in use and under renovation are well lit by sconces powered by flame or magic, depending on their exact place within the structure, whereas the still abandoned rooms are gloomy and bare. Beneath the labyrinth of tunnels exists a flooded cave system from which the clan draws its water, its source unknown.

As the dragons have made peace with the Longneck here, the clan finds little reason to do battle with surrounding settlements of beastclan members. The tolerance of other species is a shaky one, but no trouble has found them yet, and they aim to keep it that way, raising their hatchlings with a somewhat confusing mixture of typical dragon superiority and respect for the "lesser" species, or at least their particular Longneck allies who share their living space. Many dragons have made friends with Longneck individuals, and the alliance has led to better educated members of both species. The clan sees a number of Longneck proficient in dragon-specific magic, and dragons, too, with a greater sense of connection to nature and agriculture.

There's some kinda rule about needing to be clown and eyespots to fit in. Nobody can even remember why or I have yet to come up with the Very Important (probably prejudiced) reason but the adherence to the law is loosening because dude that's a bad rule. (plus other dragons are so pretty boi I die) That's all I got so far.
