Welcome to Moonlight Ridge

A Brief History
The clan is varied in species and elements, but they've found one thing that brings them all together: their love of space. The clan started in the Tangled Wood, founded by a Mirror and Fae couple. Upon realizing they didn't quite get along with other members of Shadow, they traveled to the Sunbeam Ruins. Eventually, they both left to serve the Arcanist. While the rest of the clan they'd gathered decided to stay in Light, there was some debate on whether or not to move again. The only remaining member from when the clan was in Shadow, Malek, was somehow appointed the clan leader. Looking to him for a decision, he opted to move the clan to Starfall Isles. Divided, much of the clan remained in Light and went on to serve their deity. Very few remained under the leadership of Malek, but those that did felt he made the best decision for the clan. They all shared a love of space and the unusual, and an official clan name was born: Moonlight Ridge. Now, there are very few members of Moonlight Ridge, and some are even still contemplating serving the Arcanist. There are a few, though, who still wander into the clan and find their place, here.

The Moonlight Ridge
Moonlight Ridge is a village nestled in brilliant pink mountains and filled with dragons with a passion for knowledge beyond their own world. Beyond space and time, even. Looking to the stars for insight, a few members wish to find a way to travel to other worlds. While the clan has mixed alignments and species, the one thing they all have in common is the drive to find something more. Something beyond Sornieth, beyond time, beyond death even. Perhaps they're nothing but a group with wild imaginations and conspiracies, or so the ex-clan members have said. Or maybe, someday they'll be proven wrong...

The Rise and Fall of Malek
Malek was elected clan leader, since he was the only original Shadow member left. He's actually quite awful, and wasn't the greatest leader. He lead the clan out of Light and into Arcane, where they continued to spiral into unorganized chaos. Nobody knew their role, although they did their best, and Malek had no idea how to properly run a clan. The clan nearly parted ways, until a pair of odd newcomers showed up. Argon and Spider took control and whipped the clan back into shape, giving its members a newfound sense of purpose. Malek doesn't trust them, but they've only ever done good for the clan....so far. The remaining members elected Argon the new leader, and Spider sort of a co-leader. Malek is desperately trying to find some kind of dirt on them, but everybody just feels it's nothing but jealousy.

I TRY NOT TO EXALT!
At least, not purposefully. Sometimes I impulse buy a dragon and can't quite find a place for it in my lore, or need lair space, but I DO NOT go seeking dragons just to exalt them! Chances are if I buy a dragon of yours, it will have a nice home. If nothing else, for aesthetic purposes!

Dragon heritages are not considered canon!
I know a lot of people have lore involving parents and/or offspring, but I don't. None of my dragons' parents or offspring are a canon part of their lore. I kinda just do my own thing.
